The company is known for its strong operational backbone, heavy investment in enterprise systems, and a culture that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and practical innovation.They are hiring a Business Systems Analyst to support Finance, sitting at the intersection of Salesforce, billing, and core financial systems. This role is critical to ensuring financial processes scale cleanly as the business grows. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving real-world financial systems problems, working closely with business leaders, and influencing how enterprise platforms are designed and used.This is a full-time, direct-hire role and is fully remote in the US, but core working hours are Eastern timezone.The Role You’ll PlayIn this role, you will serve as a senior Business Systems Analyst supporting Finance, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce-integrated financial platforms. You will partner closely with Finance leadership, IT, and development teams to design, improve, and scale systems that support billing, invoicing, collections, revenue recognition, and compliance.You will be hands-on in analyzing current-state processes, identifying gaps, recommending solutions, and translating business needs into clear functional and technical requirements. While this is not an architect role, you will be expected to think holistically about how systems fit together and to contribute meaningfully to solution design.Key responsibilities include:Leading requirements gathering for complex finance-related initiativesWriting functional and technical specifications in an Agile environmentCollaborating on system design, including workflows, configurations, and integrationsSupporting Salesforce-to-finance system flows, including billing and invoicingActing as a trusted partner to Finance stakeholders, including senior leadersSupporting strategic initiatives such as financial system upgrades and new capabilitiesEnsuring data integrity, accuracy, and alignment with accounting principlesHelping move Finance away from reactive break-fix work toward scalable solutions Background Profile:The ideal candidate is a seasoned Business Systems Analyst with real finance domain experience and strong technical curiosity. You may have come up through IT with deep exposure to financial systems, or from the finance side and grown into a highly technical analyst. Either path works, as long as you can truly walk and talk finance and understand how enterprise systems support it.5+ years of Business Systems Analyst or Systems Analyst experienceHands-on experience supporting Finance functions such as GL, AR, AP, billing, tax, or collectionsSalesforce experience in a complex enterprise environmentExperience working with financial platforms such as Zuora, Certinia, or similarAbility to analyze data, understand system flows, and identify root causesExperience writing clear requirements, process flows, and specificationsStrong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teamsComfort working with senior stakeholders and leadershipNice to have:Direct Zuora experience, especially billing, invoicing, or workflowsSQL or data analysis experiencePower BI familiarityPrior consulting backgroundIIBA or PMI-PBA certification
