This opportunity involves providing specialized educational services to K-12 students within a Colorado school district, focusing on a range of special education needs. These assignments require a commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments and addressing diverse developmental and educational requirements.Responsibilities:Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with various special education needs, including affective, learning, and significant cognitive support.Collaborate with educational teams, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Monitor student progress and adjust instructional techniques to optimize learning outcomes.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state policies.Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to stay current with best practices.Qualifications:Active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) Special Education Certification.Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings.Ability to manage caseloads that include diverse student needs and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.Strong communication and organizational skills.Flexibility and adaptability to work in multiple school environments.Location: Denver area, Colorado, with specific assignments in schools such as Rocky Mountain Elementary School, Thunder Vista P-8, Century Middle School, and Thornton Middle School.
