Custodial Supervisor Operations Leadership Jobs Dearborn, Michigan Description Position at SBM Management The Custodial Supervisor will be responsible for the assignment and direct supervision of custodial employees in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the assigned areas. The supervisor will inspect areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations.Responsibilities:Coordinate and supervise the activities of employees in the Custodial programTrain and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and proceduresEnsure that custodial services meet the needs of the siteEnsure custodial personnel have the equipment and supplies necessary to perform their jobIssues supplies to custodians as neededConduct regular quality, service, and safety inspections of assigned areas and reporting the results of the inspections with particular emphasis on needed repairsEvaluate and recommend new custodial supplies and equipment by conducting testingEnsure specified contract services are provided by the contractor by inspecting the work performedAdvises the immediate supervisor when shortcomings or other deficiencies of work are notedReport employee personnel and customer issues to supervisorReport accidents and incidents to the supervisor immediatelyCarry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable lawsInterview, hire, plans, assign, and direct workEnsure each team member works in conformance with SBM policies and proceduresEnsure operational excellence through training, coaching, disciplining, and encouragement of team membersAddress complaints and resolve problemsEnsure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirementsMonitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and suppliesProvide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvementReview and maintain employee’s records such as attendance and metric dataCorrect at risk behavior then reports to the supervisor immediatelyQualifications:Spanish speaking preferredMay be required to have a valid driver’s license.CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plusA minimum of two to three years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, such as an A.A. Degree with 2+ years experience or a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.); with a minimum one year related experience and/or training.Compensation: $50,- $55, per yearShifts: Monday-Friday (Alternating Weekends) 4:00pm - 12:30amSBM Management Services, LP and its affiliates are proud to be equal opportunity workplaces.
