Summary:Works with the Baptist Health user community in the evaluation, selection, design/tailoring, testing and implementation of clinical and business systems. Works well in team environments, and provides ongoing support for problem resolution, application modifications, and new releases. Works independently on less complex projects and under general supervision on elements of major or complex projects. Assists users with basic trouble shooting/problem solving, and guides users in the use of healthcare systems. After an initial orientation period, will begin to specialize in a particular Baptist Health system and provide on-call coverage for a production system on a scheduled basis.Other information:Skills: Requires strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, leadership skills, presentation skills, organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and attention to detail. Requires strong customer service orientation, and knowledge of healthcare workflows. Demonstrates computer/software skills, with an aptitude for enhancing those skills in the area of healthcare systems/modules. Ability to work with minimal direction on assigned projects. Ability to handle multiple priorities, and lead/facilitate groups.Education: Prefer a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, but will accept 3 years or more of relevant experience in lieu of degree.Experience: Minimum of 2 years relevant experience is preferred.Certification: Epic certification is preferred, if required for the position. If not pre-certified and Epic certification required, then certification required six months post hire date. All certifications required for this position must be current as a condition of continued employment.This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
