Description :This position may be eligible for the following:$15,000 Sign On BonusContinuing Education BenefitsJOB SUMMARYThe Occupational Therapist provides services for the purpose of promoting health and wellness and to those who have or are at risk for developing an illness, injury, disease, disorder, condition, impairment, disability, activity limitation, or participation restriction. The Occupational Therapist will select methods or strategies to direct the process of interventions, evaluate factors affecting activities of daily living and implements interventions and procedures to promote or enhance safety and performance in activities of daily living. The Occupational Therapist performs in a manner consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health Systems’ mission, policies and initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATIONMinimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.Preferred/Optional: Master’s or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy.EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: Supervised clinical internship(s) working with adult and/or pediatric populations to prepare for professional registrationPreferred/Optional: NoneCERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES Minimum Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.Occupational Therapist license awarded by the State of Wisconsin.Preferred/Optional: Current certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.This position would be primarily for acute care coverage assisting with some outpatient coverage when needed.
