Mechatronics & Robotics Technician Position Type: Full-Time Location: Clear Brook, VA Pay Rate: $23-27/hour based upon experience Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated systems to enhance operational efficiency. Implement robotics solutions to streamline workflows in various processes. Collaborate with engineering teams to innovate and improve mechatronic systems. Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on robotics and mechatronics systems. Conduct testing and quality assurance on robotic systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. Document technical reports and maintain records of maintenance and repairs. Train and mentor junior technicians in mechatronics and robotics applications. Coordinate with vendors to procure materials and equipment necessary for projects. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness. Essential Qualifications: Strong foundational knowledge in mechatronics, robotics, and automation technologies. Proficient in programming languages relevant to robotic control and automation. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Excellent troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Desired Experience: Experience in a similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred. Prior experience in programming and operating robotic systems. Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical system installations. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in robotics.
