JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:The Advanced Manufacturing Process Development Department of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking undergraduate students to perform polymer additive manufacturing experiments.ARL is an authorized DoD SkillBridge partner and welcomes all transitioning military members to apply.Typical duties will include: Set up and execute experimental builds on polymer 3D PrintersUse python code and MongoDB database to record data during experimental buildsTroubleshoot and resolve 3D printer maintenance issuesMechanical testing of 3D printed test specimensAssist R&D team in data analysisPrepare reports on results of testingPresent on results to sponsorsStudents studying Aerospace , Electrical , Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to apply.
