The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Charlotte that are seeking skilled Quality Supervisors. Key Responsibilities Supervise and train quality inspectors and technicians on procedures and standards. Oversee all product inspection, testing, and measurement processes to ensure compliance with specifications. Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Maintain and ensure accuracy of all quality documentation, records, and reports. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles within the quality department. Ensure strict adherence to quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), company policies, and regulatory requirements. Manage the calibration program for all quality measurement and test equipment. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field. 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis tools. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience with specific Quality Management System (QMS) software (e.g., SAP QM, MasterControl). Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar professional certification. Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for quality data.
