Responsibilities : - Develop and execute comprehensive research strategies that integrate competitive, industry, and location-based insights to evaluate new markets, customer growth opportunities, and competitive threats. - Translate intelligence on marketplace shifts—technology, political, social, and economic trends—into recommendations that shape corporate growth and operational decisions. Facilitate discussions with senior leadership, encouraging open debate and challenging assumptions. - Direct ongoing research and analysis of competitor activities, customer industries, federal/state/local transportation policies, and infrastructure developments to maintain our market edge. - Lead strategic risk assessment and scenario planning efforts based on market intelligence to anticipate business disruptions and inform proactive decision-making. - Produce clear, impactful reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams to inform strategic, sales, and marketing planning. - Own and continuously improve the market intelligence technology stack, including platforms, analytics tools, and data visualization software to enhance data quality, accessibility, and reporting efficiency. - Other projects and tasks as assigned.
