As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an auto industry location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.Maintain detailed records of patrols, observations, and any incidents that occur during the shift.Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any irregularities.Assist with emergency response activities, including following protocols for evacuation or incident reporting, as directed by site procedures.Minimum Requirements:At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.Customer service experience is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
