Receptionist / Customer Service RepresentativeLocation: On-site at two office locations in Rockford, IL (flexibility required) We are seeking a dependable and professional individual to serve as the first point of contact for a growing rental business. This hybrid Receptionist / Customer Service Representative role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a long-term commitment to growth. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of rental operations and must be comfortable working across two office locations.This is a long-term opportunity with potential for advancement as the business expands. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes initiative, and has a stable work history.Key Responsibilities:Greet and assist visitors, clients, and candidates in a warm and professional mannerAnswer and direct incoming calls courteously and efficientlyRespond to inquiries via phone, email, and mailMake reservations and look up information in the computer systemFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for car rental operationsContact partner organizations as neededMaintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby areaSchedule appointments and manage calendars for internal staffSupport administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparationAssist with onboarding paperwork and candidate check-ins (if applicable)Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth office operationsQualifications:Proven experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service roleProfessional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable using office technology (phones, email, scheduling tools, etc.)Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressureMature, reliable, and team-oriented attitudePreferred:Spanish language skills preferred (especially helpful for client communication)
