As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and regain independence in our state-of-the-art facility.ResponsibilitiesAssist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions and disabilitiesConduct occupational therapy treatments and activities under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapistUse therapeutic modalities, such as exercises, activities, and interventions, to promote patient participation, mobility, and independenceDocument patient progress and treatment plans in a timely and accurate mannerCollaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and coordinationMaintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staffRequirementsCurrent certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in the state of FloridaMinimum 6months to 1 year of experience as a COTA (new graduates encouraged to apply)Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with diverse patient populationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly rate of $37 per hourOpportunity to work with a talented and dedicated team of healthcare professionalsState-of-the-art facility and equipmentA positive and supportive work environmentHow to ApplyIf you are a motivated and compassionate COTA looking to make a difference in the lives of patients, please submit your application to join our dynamic team.
