Required: Valid New York State HHA or PCA Certificate a must 2 forms of ID Recent physical from your doctor Speak and understand Spanish The Role: Reliable, Compassionate and Caring. Light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, bathing, dressing, grooming. Following the care plan provided by the agency which may include helping patient with daily functions such as dressing or taking bath Maintaining Daily Time-Sheets and reporting to nurses if there is a change in the patients’ health status Scheduling doctors’ appointments if requested by the client. Qualifications:- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA)- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures- Ability to lift and move patients safely - Experience using phone device to clock in and out- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate and patient-focused approach to caregiving Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.10 an hour Expected hours: 24 - 48 hours Benefits: Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Available to work in Yonkers NY 10703 Work Location: In person
