Carriage House Nursing and Rehab - Looking for a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant PTA to join in house therapy team in skilled nursing facilities. Preferred Care MI is looking a Physical Therapist Assistant to aide in the restoration and enhancement of independent function and maximizes independence in those individuals whose living status has been compromised by illness and/or injury. This position is PRN and flexible at Carriage House/Hampton Nursing and Rehab. Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: · Provides treatment which meets needs and uses current treatment knowledge in accordance with the Facility clinical procedures. · Treats patients under the direction of the Physical Therapist, communicates with families, physicians and other interdisciplinary team members, and documents services in the medical record. · Provides accurate, complete, and clear documentation. · Consistently demonstrate the Facility’s interdisciplinary approach to resident/patient care. · Other duties as assigned. Our candidates will possess the ability to effectively communicate with patients and other staff. Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Educational requirements: Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Preferred Care Michigan company is an equal opportunity employer.
