Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) is needed to provide specialized care in the Cypress, Texas area. This contract position offers opportunities for both full-time and part-time schedules, primarily on-site, supporting pediatric and school-age populations through comprehensive speech and language services.Qualifications:Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication DisordersActive Texas licensure or eligibility for licensureASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferredExperience in school settings is advantageousFamiliarity with AAC devices and intervention strategiesStrong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Key Responsibilities:Conduct evaluations and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disordersDevelop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needsCollaborate closely with families, caregivers, speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs), physical therapists (PTs), and occupational therapists (OTs)Monitor therapeutic progress and adjust interventions as necessaryMaintain precise and up-to-date documentation of patient care and progress reportsThis role supports a broad caseload with details to be shared during the interview process.
