At GDIT you’ll be at the forefront of innovation and play a meaningful part in improving how agencies operate.Our work depends on Cyber Systems Administrator - SecOps joining our IT Technology Operations division within the NCIS ITD organization in Quantico, VA.**This position is pending funding.**The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is an organization of approximately 2, personnel of which serve at HQ and the remaining staff serve at offices worldwide. NCIS is the DON component with primary responsibility for criminal investigation, law enforcement (LE), counter-terrorism (CT), counterintelligence (CI), and cyber matters. NCIS not only has primary responsibility for all criminal investigative, CI, CT, and cyber matters within the DON, but it also has exclusive investigative jurisdiction in non-combat matters involving actual, potential, or suspected criminal, terrorism, sabotage, espionage, and subversive activities. HOW OUR CYBER SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR – SECOPS WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Implement STIG releases across a variety of operating systems and applicationsTracks and remediates IAVM vulnerabilitiesManages ACAS vulnerability reports and remediates as requiredPerforms software upgrades, patch installs, firmware upgradesDiagnosis and troubleshoot problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related softwareDaily written and oral communications with coworkers and leadershipContinual attention to periodic SCAP and STIG requirements needed to harden the serversTroubleshoot and configure servers in a virtual environment using VsphereCreate scripts in various shells to automate daily and periodic tasksDocument work for leadership, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff and customers various tasksWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.Required Experience:5+ years of experience with systems administration:DoD system accreditation processSTIG checklist review process to include SCAP scans and implementationMicrosoft SCCM package creation and deploymentGroup Policy Management administration to include policy creation and maintenanceFamiliarity with Windows 10 including deployment via SCCM / standalone optionsImproving system operations and functionality, monitoring, and optimization of servers and workstationsPrevious exposure with VMware virtual environmentsRequired Certifications: Security+ CEEducation: BS Degree or 4 additional years of work experience in lieu of degree.Location: Onsite at Quantico, VAPosition Availability: This position is pending funding.US Citizenship requiredWHAT WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:ACAS ManagementLINUX Systems Administration Experience (SPLUNK)Forescout ExperienceGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays#NCIScareers
