Job Description As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol Driver in New Bern, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the facility to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.25 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the interior and perimeter areas.Observe for any irregularities or potential security-related concerns and report findings according to established protocols.Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.Support the enforcement of company policies and procedures as directed by site leadership.Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.Remain alert and attentive to surroundings to help to deter potential security-related threats or issues.Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and/or contractors as needed while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
