Job Title: ServerDepartment: Food ServiceReports to: Kitchen ManagerStarting rate of pay: $15.75/hr Company Benefits: • Flexible Hours• Employee Discount• 10 Paid Holidays (including 2 days for your birthday)*• Medical/Vision/Dental Package*• Free Life Insurance*• Vacation and Sick Leave*• Voluntary Insurance Plans (Life, Disability, Cancer, Accidental)• Long Term Disability• Wellness Program • Discounted Gym membership-(YMCA) • Matching 401K*• Management Bonuses**For qualifying positionsPosition Summary: Provides customer service while taking food orders, serving and preparing food in the Food Service department.Job duties: - Greets customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contact.- Keeps workstation clean and organized by dusting, wiping, and sweeping area.- Makes sandwiches by request of customers- Tracks food inventory, alert cooks and refill food counter if needed- Plates meals for customers, with correct portioning- Verifies/balances register till at the beginning and end of shift.- Accepts/Processes payment from customer in the form of cash, credit, debit, ebt, and check- Verifies and processes coupons- Maintains register accuracy, knows/ carries out proper register procedures- Performs other related duties as needed as assigned by managerCapabilities:- Stand for long periods of time, frequent walking around department from different sections- Carry up to 40 pounds, push and pull up to 1000 pounds, frequent motions of arms and hands to prepare food products- Use of proper safety procedures- Mark down and pull products from floor if needed- Able to listen to directions and follow through independently- Good communication and observation skillsJob Skills: - Previous experience working with the public- Time management skillsEnvironment:- Air condition while in store, subject to heat when around hot food and chill temperatures if products need to be retrieved from chill- Very fast paced at timesOther- Must be 18 years of age to ring registerPIa1f5536d06bf-30511-38284918
