Power Wash Technician (1st Shift, Mon-Fri, Full-time or Part-Time)JOB SUMMARYThe Entry Level Power Wash Technician, assigned to the Chemical Process Line will specialize in cleaning and preparing aerospace components using high pressure wash systems. This position is critical to ensuring parts meet cleanliness standards prior to inspection and assembly.Through our extensive in-house training program, the successful applicant will be instructed via a series of computer based and hands-on training, the necessary skills of the position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThrough our extensive in-house training program, the successful applicant will be instructed via a series of computer based and hands-on training, the necessary skills of the position.1. Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure full compliance with company safety policies and procedures.2. Operate power wash equipment to clean turbine frames, engine cases, and other aerospace parts.3. Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols for each component type.4. Inspect parts before and after washing to ensure quality standards are met.5. Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness.6. Communicate any issues or irregularities to the supervisor promptly.7. Routinely use overhead cranes during the process.8. Communicate all work-related problems and issues with supervisors or other departments in a timely and efficient manner. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS1. Some work experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.2. Knowledge of machines, equipment, and workplace safety.3. Ability or experience following directions and reading work instructions.4. Demonstrated ability or experience in being able to effectively communicate with team members, including recognizing and adapting to a structured training program. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS1. High school or technical school graduate or equivalent. (in-process schooling is acceptable as well.)2. Careful attention to detail.3. Capable of handling multiple tasks4. Basic knowledge of computers and standard software programs.5. Read, write, speak, and understand the English language. WORK ENVIRONMENT1. This position has pre-employment testing requirements that may require fitness for duty testing and a vision exam.2. Work in varying positions from time to time. Stand and/or sit for portions of the shift. Move parts (>50 pounds) using hoists, slings, carts, or other handling methods. Move less heavy parts (
