Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.Key Responsibilities of a Senior Test Engineer:Lead the full test development process for breakthrough and derivative products.Collaborate with design teams to implement Design for Manufacturing and Design for Testing techniques.Resolve highly complex technical issues in new development products.Define and implement comprehensive factory cost improvements.Drive new product development and manufacturing release processes.Demonstrate high motivation and strong interpersonal skills as a team-oriented individual.Key Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related fields.U.S. citizenship.Comprehensive understanding of test solutions across multiple test platforms.Ability to develop entirely original test solutions for breakthrough products.Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of related and progressive experience.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Electronics or a related field of study.Proven ability to innovate, leading to patents or trade secrets.Developed leadership skills.Expertise in test automation frameworks using tools such as NI LabWindows CVI, NI LabView, NI TestStand, Python, C#, and Keysight OpenTap.Proficiency with RF/Microwave and Mixed-Signal test equipment, including network analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and phase noise analyzers.What’s in it for youCompressed work week option – alternating regular week followed by four 10’s with Fri off.UML Fellowship Program – work 20h, get paid for 40h and earn a fully funded master’s degree.Voted in the top 100 (#75) best places to work 2024 Glassdoor.Benefits: medical, dental, sick and vacation leaves, disability, life insurance, employee assistance, tuition reimbursement, interest subsidy, ESPP, bonus. #LI-PG1Job Req Type: ExperiencedRequired Travel: NoShift Type: 1st Shift/DaysSecurity Clearance required: NoThe expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $108,800 to $149,600.Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
