Must have a sufficient understanding of technology in order to appropriately define and delineate business capabilities from technical requirements. They must also understand business strategy and objectives in order to ensure that IT engineering work is prioritized by business value and that results align with business objectives. The incumbent provides expert content/professional leadership on complex assignments/projects. Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise the software engineering team. Focuses on providing solution design thought leadership but also works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business objectives.
