As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.71 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm and problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues encountered during patrols.Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting unauthorized individuals as needed.Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors to provide assistance and information when requested.Document all incidents and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.Minimum Requirements:At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
