This is a highly visible, working leadership role ideal for a chef who enjoys being on the floor, leading a small team, and delivering consistent, high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.Enjoy a Monday through Friday work schedule with most major holidays off, a meal provided during shift, and free onsite parkingKey Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall success of the culinary program and daily food service operations.You will lead a small frontline team, execute menus, support service (including Starbucks/barista coverage), and ensure a positive client and guest experience.Oversight of the full culinary management of the food service operation at CSC Marvel CafeKnowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirableProficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing, and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food productsPossesses a passion for sustainabilityPreferred Qualifications: At least 2-3 years of culinary management experience in food service, hospitalityMust have a working knowledge of HACCPExperience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and controlExperience managing othersExtensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentationExperience with exposition cooking neededKnowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirableServSafe certification is a plusLocal or within a reasonable daily commute to Wilmington, DEApply to CulinArt todayCulinArt is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
