What you'll do
Perform patient care by taking vitalspatient history and triagingAssist with procedures such as incision and drainage, lacerations and wound care Administer medications via intradermal, intramuscular and subcutaneous routescarry out ear lavages run EKGs Conduct lab testing such as urinalysis, urine pregnancy test, blood glucose testing, monospot, rapid strep and influenza testing, rapid hiv testingManage the front desk and perform receptionist duties as neededComplete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol TestsAbout You
High school diploma or equivalentCertification from an accredited Medical Assistant program Current BLS certification 1+ years experience as a Medical AssistantAbility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays Phlebotomy experience preferred Great communication skills Perks• Forward-thinking, transparent, and inclusive company culture
