Join Our Team as a Rehabilitation Aide Location: UPMC Williamsport Schedule: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. | One weekend every 4 weeks | Two holidays per yearAre you passionate about helping others and interested in a career in healthcare? We’re looking for a dedicated Rehabilitation Aide to support our therapy team and contribute to exceptional patient care. Position OverviewAs a Rehabilitation Aide, you’ll work under the direct supervision of licensed clinical staff—including Occupational Therapists (OT), Physical Therapists (PT), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), and their assistants (PTA, COTA)—to assist with both clinical and clerical responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, compassionate, and eager to make a difference.Previous patient care experience is a plus but not required. We provide training️ Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with patient transfers, setup, and transportation in a safe and courteous manner.Support therapy sessions by preparing treatment areas and applying modalities as directed.Perform clerical duties such as scheduling, registration, filing charges, and maintaining logs.Maintain inventory of medical supplies and linen; ensure cleanliness of equipment and workspaces.Escort patients to treatment areas and communicate effectively with clinical staff.Answer department phone calls professionally and assist with inquiries.Help orient and mentor new aides and therapy volunteers.Ensure patient safety and comfort during and after therapy sessions.✅ What We’re Looking ForStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
