Sr. Implementation Project Manager

The Sr. Implementation Project Manager is responsible for overall project management and support of client software implementation projects. The scope of this job includes managing overall project schedule by partnering with resource owners and executive sponsors to ensure activities are carried out in accordance with established goals and budgets.This position is with our Project Management Officeteam. We invite you to apply today and join us in shaping the future of healthcareKey Responsibilities: Create and manage complex project schedules, budgets, and resource management for large/enterprise clients, oversee daily operations, and make strategic revisions to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.Regularly and proactively communicate with the project team, provide updates, identify potential risks, and lead project planning and status meetings.Lead both project management and executive steering committee meetings to align client and WellSky teams and deliver concise executive-level reporting on project status and performance metrics.Develop advanced knowledge of each client’s business, organization, and objectives to drive improved project execution, generate leads for future sales, and support strategic outcomes.Cultivate a strategic partnership with client project manager and project sponsor which will be instrumental in facilitating change management to ensure long term adoption of the solution.Leverage methods and procedures to ensure consistent results, proactively identify process improvements, implement efficiency measures, and mentor new project managers by fostering a collaborative working environment.Perform other job duties as assigned.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienceAt least 8-12 years relevant work experienceDemonstrated experience working as a billable resource within a Professional Services function, with a clear understanding of utilization targets and client-facing delivery expectationsProven ability to manage project budgets, including planning, tracking, and adjusting financials to align with scope, timelines, and resource allocationsPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience in the healthcare industry, with an understanding of clinical workflows, regulatory considerations, or healthcare technology environments.Certification in Project Management or a related discipline, such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile Scrum Master, or equivalent.Job Expectations: Willing to travel up to 50% based on business needsWilling to work additional or irregular hours as neededMust work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client informationMust be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time#LI-OnsiteHere are some of the exciting benefits full-time teammates are eligible to receive at WellSky:Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefitsMental health benefits through TelaDocPrescription drug coverageGenerous paid time off, plus 13 paid holidaysPaid parental leave100% vested 401(K) retirement plansEducational assistance up to $2500 per year
