Manages the activities of the Shift Supervisors and Dorm Coordinators to ensure that students' needs are met. The Independent Living Manager is knowledgeable on National Job Corps New Vision goals, Region business plan, projects and initiatives ensuring the New Vision language is incorporated into the center goals. Ensures that the center maintains the highest level of data integrity in all reporting of center statistics and metrics. Provides monthly and weekly activity reports to the Social Development Director Ensures that order and discipline are maintained in dormitories, while promoting self-discipline and an awareness of others. Facilitates prompt and appropriate assistance to students in the event of injury, illness, emotional trauma, arrest, trouble at home and other traumatic experiences. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Four years' related experience working with at risk-youth; two of which must be in a managerial capacity preferred. Prefer Job Corps experience. Must possess knowledge of computers and software such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred . Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
