The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for general clinic office functions that support efficient and effective patient care including patient registration, insurance verification, collection of applicable co-insurance and/or co-payments and scheduling of diagnostic and follow-up appointments and answering phones.

Schedule (38 hours): Wednesday (1-7pm), Thursday & Friday (6:45am-7pm), and every other weekend (7:30am-5pm). 

Location: Rucker Ave, Everett, WA

Primary Responsibilities:

Greet customers into the practice and provide instruction and/or direction as necessary both on the phone and in personSchedule and coordinate all patient appointments as directedMaintain an organized and clean work area, free of clutterPrepare all documentation and records with accuracy as directed or necessary for the patient's careMeet or exceed the performance measures established by the Practice Management DeptOrder and maintain the inventory, and stock in the area according to the policies and procedures established by the Practice Management Dept. and Central SupplyFollow establish policy and procedures related to the positionParticipate and contribute in a team-based environmentMaintain a team supportive attendance recordFollow OSHA/WISHA (including usage of PPE) guidelinesFollow HIPAA regulationsAdapt and perform effectively in a continuously changing environment, and in occasional difficult situations

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED (or higher) 1+ years of customer service experience with strong communication skills both in person and via phone1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in the healthcare industryKnowledge of medications and medical terminology 

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
