Mechanical Assembler Job Highlights: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift, 8-hour shifts Pay: $24-27 per hour, depending on experience Location: Shawano, Wisconsin Evaluation-to-hire or direct-hire position – this company wants you LONG-TERM Full benefits upon hire Mechanical Assembler Position Overview: As a Mechanical Assembler, you’ll play a key role in building the equipment and components that drive performance in industries like construction, mining, and industrial machinery. You’ll work primarily in pre-assembly, creating and building smaller parts and sub-assemblies that will be used in later production stages. If you’re hands on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, this role offers an excellent platform to develop your skills and advance in your career. Mechanical Assembler Job Duties: Assemble products and sub-assemblies using process sheets, drawings, work instructions, blueprints, and verbal guidance. Safely operate overhead or jib cranes to move and position large parts Inspect incoming parts and completed assemblies; report any defects or non-conforming materials Mount and connect mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other components Install moving parts such as shafts, levers, and bearings and verify proper function Follow production schedules to ensure assemblies are completed on time Mechanical Assembler Job Qualifications: 2 years of mechanical assembly experience Heavy manufacturing experience required High school diploma or equivalent is required Mechanical Assembler Physical Requirements: Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools Physically able to stand, kneel, stoop, reach, push, and pull repeatedly Able to lift up to 40lbs repeatedly You should be proficient in: Machine Building/Assembling Mechanical Assembly Skills Blueprint Reading Machines & technologies you'll use: Overhead Crane
