Minimum qualifications may be defined by the department based on the responsibilities of the position. Preferred Qualifications Previous cleaning experience preferred Position Summary This position is responsible for ensuring that all public areas of the Georgia Center remain clean and presentable at all times. Additional Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification Graduation from a standard high school, GED or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Dependable, responsible, honest, strong work ethic, positive attitude Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to work under time constraints and in a fast-paced environment. Ability to speak and understand English. Physical Demands This is a physically demanding position. Ability to lift or move at least lbs. Ability to push a lb. cart. Ability to bend, lift, kneel, reach, and work with hands. Must be able to stand on feet and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to see dust, hair, lint and dirt. Be able to smell odors to identify the source to clean. Be attentive to detail in cleaning and presentation. Is driving required to perform essential duties outlined in this position? (This does not include infrequent trips) The successful candidate would have to provide proof that s/he has a valid driver's license when offered employment.
