We consider each and every employee part of the Badger Alloys family and an integral part of our success.THE ROLEThe CNC Machinist works in a fast-paced job shop environment for the completion of programming, setting up and operating CNC lathes as well as CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.Writing programs to accomplish various machining operations as per the required sequence and dimensions of a jobSelect, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines such as mills and lathesCalculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed and depth, and angle of cut (this was prolly for manual machines)Enters commands to retrieve, input or edit computerized machine control mediaFacilitate work order paper flow in accordance with company standardsInspections of partsDetermine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requires QUALIFICATIONSWe are looking for a motivated individual with strong project management skills and a willingness to learn.
