Skilled Sanitation Technician

Work Location Manteca, CA Position PurposeUnder general supervision of the Team Supervisor, this associate will be responsible for carrying out the Delicato Sanitation program for the Bottling Department.Functional ResponsibilityEssential DutiesProvides oversite and training of team members assigned or tasked to complete Environmental Sanitation tasks.Follows all Delicato safety rules regarding the use of Sanitation ChemicalsFollows all practices in the Delicato Sanitation ManualCleans all production lines that have been used during the dayMakes sure that the production lines that will be used the following shift are cleaned and readyCoordinates sanitation work with the Production and Maintenance Crew so that Sanitation, Production and Maintenance can complete their assignments during the shiftPerforms duties of a General Line Technician if neededWorks on production line as neededWorks on special projects assigned by the Team SupervisorMaybe assigned to other Delicato Departments as needed*Other duties may be assigned Non-Essential Duties*Other duties may be assignedMinimum RequirementsEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience and familiarity with production line principles is desirable2+ years in sanitation technician role or comparative roleKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of cleaning chemicals is helpful, proper lifting technique, Safety principles and GMP knowledge is a plusCertificates and LicensesNo Certificates or Licenses requiredWorking ConditionsHigh percentage of time spent on the production floor exposed to varying levels of equipment noise and temperature fluctuation based on the seasonsWork StandardsActs in a manner reflective of the Company culture of High Moral Standards, Innovation and Continuous Evolution, Trust in Team, Continuous Improvement, and Sustainable RelationshipsCommunicates, interacts, and works effectively with others; receptive to feedback and coaching; voices concern in a constructive mannerDemonstrates commitment to safety first; communicates safety concerns; promotes a safe work environment based on established safety standards and trainingFollows all Company policies and procedures Additional CommentsManagement retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.​ California Pay Transparency Disclaimer: This is a Non-Exempt position. The pay range for this position is $18.46 to $28.86. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
