Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing

Position Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop and write assignments and coursework taught in the undergraduate nursing program. Teach in both lectures and laboratories. Provide remediation instruction to ensure student success. Provide academic advisement for undergraduate nursing students. Collaborate with members of the Katz Nursing faculty and other University faculty. Participate in student recruitment events and retention initiatives. Participate in Katz School scholarship activities and projects Serve on Nursing Program and University committees and provide professional service Participate in Nursing Program assessment and accreditation-related projects, reports and site visits Coordinate Clinical Adjunct Faculty Perform other duties as assigned Experience & Educational Background: Nursing Faculty positions require a current RN licensure, registration in New York State, and a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Nursing. All applicants should possess strong clinical expertise in their area of specialization. Prior teaching experience and specialty certification is strongly preferred.
