At Ayr you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact while growing your career alongside a company positioning itself for long-term success.Job SummaryTheInventory Manager is responsible for managing policy and procedure, compliance, inventory, receiving orders, and all other operational objectives of Ayr Wellness store operations. This position is responsible for ensuring all employees of the dispensary are accountable to these same responsibilities. This position manages the inventory team to improve accuracy, training, and execution of operational initiatives.Duties and Responsibilities Oversee and execute all inventory specific initiatives as outlined on the master calendarDeliver results and strategic direction by ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly through the store team.Work with cross-divisional teams to build consensus on strategic objectives, goals, and operational plansEnsure the store is audit compliant and achieves acceptable scores.Establish and implement operational policies, standards, and procedures for retail staffEnsure compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures within the retail storeCommunicate, work closely, and successfully collaborate with other Managers to achieve the organization’s goalsProvide leadership, training, guidance, and support to team members that foster continuous learning and improvement in the performance of the storeThis role may be required to assist with other duties as assigned as well as in other functions of the operation including but not limited to: sales consulting, outreach, security, delivery, and visual merchandisingTake pride in the appearance of the store by ensuring all areas, including restrooms, are consistently clean, safe, and guest-readyQualificationsMinimum 21 years of age (or per state regulations)Skilled in Google and/or Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with significant P&L responsibilityStrong knowledge of retail technology platforms and systemsMust possess strong analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures used to develop strategies designed to improve the businessEducation Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations management, or a related field is preferredExperience Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising training, quality, and customer service in retailMinimum 4 years’ retail experience, including a combination of front end and/or inventory responsibilities Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude)Customer Obsessed AYR: Dedicated to creating a remarkable experience for both internal and external customers; builds rapport and maintains meaningful and effective relationships creating trustful, authentic connections; viewed as a good listener and is easy to approach and talk to and is often in the know early in any given situation.Building Effect teams: Blends people into teams as necessary to deliver results; creates strong morale and team spirit that fosters a culture of excellence; shares successes and opportunities for improvement in terms of the whole team; creates a feeling of belonging and value in the team and in the Company.Relationship Building Viewed as a truthful individual who shares authentic and constructive feedback in a respectful manner in the spirit of being a force for good; builds mutual respect and trust by listening, learning and acting with compassion to encourage others in discovering their genius; takes responsibility for mistakes and offers impactful solutions; recognizes personal strengths and weaknesses; seeks and openly welcomes feedback for continuous improvement and personal growth.Functional/Technical skill: Possesses functional and technical knowledge and skills to perform at a high level of accomplishment; understands how their job function supports being a force for good.Direct reportsManages department within a function with authority to hire/terminateWorking conditionsThis job operates in a professional retail store environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. This position requires weekends, nights, overtime as needed, holidays, and flexible work availability. May require some travel.Physical requirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and listen. This employee is frequently required to stand or sit for long periods, walk constantly, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
