Castle CDJR of Naperville is looking for a Lube Technician to join our team. As a Lube Technician, you’ll perform vital maintenance services like oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and more – all while delivering excellent service with a positive attitude.This is a hands-on role where you’ll build your skills, grow with the team, and help ensure every vehicle leave in top shape. Lube Technician Responsibilities Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem Drive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed Install a new oil train plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks Lube Technician Qualifications Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities Strong mechanical aptitude Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment High School Diploma or GED (required) ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred) One year in a service department Valid driver’s license and clean driving record What We Offer: 401(K) profit sharing Major Medical & Dental (50% employee paid premium) Vision Voluntary Benefits (Accident, Critical Illness, Disability, and more) Life Insurance Paid Time Off Employee vehicle purchase discounts Flexible work schedule Career Advancement Lube Technician: $15-$21 per hour Compensation will be based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from displayed amounts We are looking for qualified, quality people who are ready to start their careers within our family.
