What will your day look like as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)s teach individuals with autism to talk, play, make friends, and function independently, while helping reduce any inappropriate behaviors.
- Collect data to demonstrate each client's progress toward reaching his or her goals
- Document by using our electronic data collection software for real time analysis
- Collaborate in clinical team meetings to report client progress and get specific feedback from the supervisor
- Rest Assured you'll be trained in various ABA methods by our top-notch clinicians.
What will you do as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- RBTS provide intensive one-on-one therapy to children with ASD
- Implement behavior acquisition and behavior reduction plans
- Conduct stimulus preference assessments
- Collect data
- Maintain client's program book
- Develop/create teaching materials
- Provide basic care to the clients (e.g., toileting, eating)
- Discuss client's daily progress with parents/caretakers
- Work with BCBA to implement individualized goals and checklists
- Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
- Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients
- Maintain technical and professional knowledge with continuing education
Requirements for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Background check clearance upon hire
- Valid/unexpired RBT Certification if offered RBT role. (BTs with 40 hours may be considered for role: the hourly rate will be lower)
- Previous experience working with children; ASD experience strongly preferred
- Reliability- ability to work a consistent schedule throughout the week
- Access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation
- To complete the physical demands of the job (frequent sitting and standing, sitting on and getting up from the floor, kneeling, bending, and running with children) you must be able to: Stand and move for at least 75% of the day; lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds
- Currently, we do not have a vaccine mandate for employment.

*Hourly rate depends on education, experience with children, experience in the ABA field as BT/RBT, certification as a RBT, current confirmed BCBA student, etc.
