Come make an impact every day at Zebra.The Product Management team is responsible for determining Zebra’s product offerings and driving development, launch, and adoption of RFID Solutions to positively impact the customers’ experience and market share. The Manager of Product Management will lead and work autonomously to own product lifecycle management for assigned product lines which includes product planning and product marketing.  Location- ***Role is required to be onsite in Lincolnshire, IL office (Hybrid- Minimum of 3 days in the office per week). Responsibilities: Through comprehensive knowledge of the RFID market, competitive landscape, customer requirements, distribution channels and Zebra offerings, anticipates market and customer requirements for assigned product(s).Responsible for complete product offer definitions, rallies teams to create the product offer following Zebra’s New Product Introduction (NPI), coordinates post launch activities such as sales support, bid and quote support, and customer presentations.Manages the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities for existing products to creation of next generation products to innovation for new products and solutionsSpecifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customers and non-customersP&L Management including: tracking of revenue, units, market share details, product cost, bookings, price/margin maintenance, inventory, and configuration managementDriving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioningProduct Life Cycle ManagementWork closely with operations and supply chain to properly manage: forecast, ramp plans, component obsolescence, misaligned sales orders, yield issues, and product hold issuesManage transitions and discontinuations of product lineManage product related communications to both internal and external associatesUnderstand, document, and communicate all facets of applications to enable or develop with our partners to provide a complete application solutionInterface with internal stakeholder groups, including senior management, marketing, engineering, chief technology office, sales, manufacturing/operations, etc. to clearly communicate market trends and requirementsPerform competitive analysis like-minded products and solutionsEstablish and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and the sales forceTravel as needed to visit customers, partners, attend seminars, trade shows or meet area sales personnelManage one or more subordinate product managers with direction on objectives, coaching, and support to ensure successful execution of the PLM management cycleQualifications:Minimum QualificationsBachelors Degree required 8+ years’ of experience 2+ years overseeing product managers or leading cross functional teams. Full life cycle product management experience Business development and/or sales experience Strategy customer facing experience Preferred QualificationsMaster's DegreeDemonstrated success in building technology roadmapsAbility to assess complex market landscape and create focused, integrated product plansDeep understanding of financial concepts including P&L, balances sheets, and ROI models with delivery of product through defined objectivesAttention to detail, and strong understanding of complex products and systemsExcellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to interact with customersHighly creative with ability to think strategically and develop strategic/business plansDemonstrates good judgement in decision making, applies knowledge and experience to guide decisionsStrong communication skills including written, verbal and oral presentation skills as well as ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management, managers, clients and customersMulti-task and manage complex programsAdvanced market knowledge in assigned product vertical, category or technology or solutionsSelf-starter, adaptable, persuasive, tenacious, perceptive with ability to execute a well-developed planDemonstrated success with planning and executionAdvanced analytical, problem solving and organizational skillsStrong business acumenExcellent skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Location- ***Role is required to be onsite in Lincolnshire, IL office (Hybrid- Minimum of 3 days in the office per week).  Come join our team   We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
