This hands-on leadership role ensures exceptional beverage service, fosters a positive and collaborative work culture, and elevates the guest experience through craftsmanship, consistency, and genuine hospitality.What you bring to the tableMake sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.Support and coordinate bar staff in carrying out their duties efficiently, maintaining a smooth and organized flow of service.Develop new cocktails and ensure all beverages are crafted with consistency, quality, and presentation that reflects established recipes and standards.Mentor and train new bartenders, modeling professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality-driven service.Prepare batch mixes and assist with tastings, special events, and VIP experiences.Maintain the garnish program, including daily prep and presentation standards.Monitor and replenish beverage inventory and related supplies to ensure the bar is always service-ready.Partner with bar staff to restock items for upcoming shifts and support the maintenance of clean, safe, and sanitary working conditions.Prioritize guest alcohol awareness at all times, communicating concerns with co-workers, supervisors, and other alcohol-service venues as appropriate.Protect guest and employee confidentiality at all times.Demonstrate the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, resolve guest issues with professionalism, and uphold strict compliance with OLCC standards through active leadership and presence.Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. During your shift, you'll be on your feet standing for extended periods, and frequently walk, and use your hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and be able to understand how to use equipment to safely maneuver a full keg of beer, carry cases of bottled beer with a hand truck, bend, twist, reach and otherwise be physically limber as duties necessitate. Minimum of 21 years of age required.Must have ability to obtain valid OLCC and food handler permit; ability to meet health, safety and sanitation standards at all times.Demonstrate ability to successfully navigate the POS system and accurately manage a cash bank, credit card activity, and balance with corresponding paperwork at the end of your shift.The Lead Casino Bartender must possess excellent customer service skills, be team oriented and self-motivated.Strong organizational skills with the ability to provide direction to others.
