Seasonal Maintenance Assistant

Position Summary The Seasonal Maintenance Assistant will help ensure our building, grounds, and equipment remain in excellent working order. This role is perfect for someone who is handy, dependable, and able to work independently with clear direction. Key Responsibilities Assist with routine building maintenance and repair tasks Perform light carpentry, painting, and basic plumbing as needed Support groundskeeping: mowing, trimming, minor outdoor cleanup Help with room turnovers, hanging fixtures, and small projects Conduct daily checks on facility equipment and safety items Respond to work orders in a timely and courteous manner Maintain a clean and organized workspace and supply areas Follow all safety and compliance guidelines Qualifications Previous maintenance, construction, or handyman experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and repair methods Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Comfortable working around residents in a long-term care environment Must pass background screening (per state and facility requirements) What We Offer Competitive seasonal pay Supportive team environment Opportunity to gain experience in a healthcare setting
