Early Education Teacher at Our Children's Place- Lead Teacher Retiring January 31, 2026Position Title: Early Education Teacher Location: Our Children's Place Reports To: Lead Teacher/DirectorPosition Overview: Our Children's Place seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Education Teacher to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old. The teacher will create and implement engaging curriculum plans, encourage developmental milestones, foster social and emotional growth, and ensure the overall physical and mental well-being of every child. This role requires a collaborative approach, effective communication with parents, and a commitment to creating a positive learning space.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state and federal standards, ensuring activities are age-appropriate and encourage learning through storytelling, games, and hands-on projects.Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes inclusivity, establishes clear expectations for behavior, and provides individualized attention to children as needed.Foster cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development through play-based learning and structured activities.Build strong relationships with parents and guardians by regularly updating their child's progress, hosting parent-teacher conferences, and collaboratively addressing concerns.Actively participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to remain current on best practices in early childhood education.Qualifications: Candidates should hold an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field and have prior experience teaching in an early childhood setting.
