The role will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the business’s capital planning and forecasting, managing relevant systems, and preparing reports for management. The position reports to the Director, FP&A.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Analysis Lead and support the development of annual budgets, quarterly and monthly forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Perform in-depth financial analyses to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations and strategies. Partner with finance and cross-functional teams to monitor and explain variances against project development budgets and forecasts, and drive accountability and process improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Asset Management to assess financial performance of operating assets and integrate key findings into forecasts and management reporting. Partner with cost center owners to analyze SG&A spending, monitor variances, and support effective budget management. Reporting Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly management reporting packages and dashboards for senior leadership, including financial performance analysis and key insights. Systems & Tools Build, enhance, and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, scenario analysis, and process automation. Drive the development and improvement of FP&A tools, processes, and systems to support business efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with accounting, treasury, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting. Education and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA a plus. 6-8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related fields, preferably in renewable energy or Independent Power Producers (IPPs). Advanced Excel, Power Pivots and financial modeling skills, with working knowledge or exposure to Power BI or any other data Visualization tools. Experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, or similar), SQL, Excel VBA/ Macros and Relational Database is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
