Water's Edge Banquet Center is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for part-time Wedding/Banquet Bartender positions. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional service and working in a dynamic event environment, this is the perfect opportunity for youSummary of Position As a Beverage Server at Water's Edge Banquet Center, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality beverage service to ensure the success of our events. You will play a key role in providing a memorable experience for our guests by offering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.Normal Shift: VariesKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesBeverage Preparation and Service: Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to standard recipes and guest preferences. Ensure that all beverages are prepared and presented to the highest standards.Customer Service: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Address customer inquiries, handle special requests, and resolve any issues to ensure a positive experience.Inventory Management: Monitor and manage bar inventory, including stocking supplies as needed and ensuring accurate levels are maintained throughout the event.Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing barware, disposing of waste, and keeping workstations tidy.Event Support: Collaborate with event staff to set up and break down bar stations, and provide support as needed to ensure smooth event operations.Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol. Ensure responsible serving practices at all times.Room and Event Cleanup: Participate in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including cleaning and organizing rooms, removing trash from tables, and ensuring that all areas are left in excellent condition.Qualifications or desired qualificationsPreferably some knowledge or experience as a bartender or beverage server, in a banquet or event setting (desired).Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Physical stamina and capability to perform tasks such as lifting, standing for long periods, and handling cleaning equipment.Knowledge of beverage recipes, mixing techniques, and responsible alcohol service is preferred.Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills to foster a welcoming environment for both guests and team members.Must be 21+This role offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant, event-focused environment, with flexible hours based on events.
