CDL-A Intermodal Driver | Chicago, IL Home Daily | Night Shift | Consistent Miles & Pay Job Description Were hiring Class A CDL Intermodal Drivers for our Chicago, IL dedicated account. Enjoy the stability of daily home time, consistent freight, and great earning potential all while running locally throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, and Indiana. This position runs primarily nights with a mix of live loads and unloads, and heavy drop and hook freight. Ideal for drivers looking for consistency, home time, and a team that keeps you moving year-round. Home Time Home Daily Night Shift (7 PM 4 AM) Weekend work required if scheduled Holiday work as assigned (if on shift) Pay & Benefits Starting Pay: $0.62 per mile + $20 per load Average Weekly Pay: $1,200+ Weekly Mileage: ~1,800 miles Night Differential: +$0.06 per mile (MonFri, 7 PM4 AM) Weekend Differential: +$0.12 per mile (Fri 7 PMMon 4 AM) Additional Pay: Available for qualifying situations No Short-Haul or Stop Pay Requirements Minimum Experience: 6 months Class A CDL experience Endorsements: None required Equipment: Standard intermodal tractors, no special endorsements needed Trainees: Not accepted Owner-Operators: Not accepted Lane & Territory Runs throughout Chicago, WI, MI, IA, and IN Out-of-state runs that still get you home daily Expect Chicago-area traffic during certain hours Drop & Hook freight, live loads/unloads as needed Hiring Area Must live within 25 miles of zip code 60608 (Chicago, IL) Why Youll Love It Home daily with steady freight Consistent pay with night and weekend differentials Intermodal routes that keep you close to home Backed by a supportive leadership and operations team
