Job Description ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking a  Technical Specialist  to join our team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.  SUMMARY: We are looking for an experienced individual to provide technical support for the NAS Monitoring Team (NMT) Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS). The successful candidate will interface with RMLS users and other specialists in hardware, software, logistics, testing, system and database administration for RMLS troubleshooting, field support, and documentation.    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintaining hardware/software environment and JIRA ticketing software Developing test processes and procedures Produces test and remediation plans and reports and handles implementation of computer hardware and software for operational systems Provide 2nd level engineering support for RMLS applications. Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, or other technical issues Identify and document defects, bugs and inconsistencies, technical assistance, and system maintenance in a ticketing system/database Interprets and analyzes complex information systems data to develop technical documentation, system diagrams, and presentation materials Attend system design reviews; technical interchange meetings; any other meetings as requested to support program and team Create and update related documentation Must be able to work in a large group environment Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and initiative Work with outside vendors Strong interpersonal/team working skills Requirements This is an outstanding opportunity to grow your skill set in technical field support. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED required and six (6) years of related experience An Associate’s Degree in a related field will be accepted in lieu of two (2) years of experience A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field will be accepted in lieu of four (4) years of experience US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US and has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent writing and verbal skills Excellent customer relations skills Ability to work in a team environment Ability to identify time sensitive issues, resolutions, and possible escalation in high pressure situations Interprets and analyzes complex information systems data to develop technical documents, system diagrams and videos Ability to create “How-To” Studio Videos (, Camtasia)
