Relationship Manager Associate - Southeast Middle Market WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?Assists in the development and management of middle market relationships corporate clients with revenues typically greater than $200+ million in the Food & Beverage business segment in the Southeast Territory. This may be accomplished through proactive direct calling efforts, attendance at various F&B tradeshows and coordination with various centers of influence (law firms, accountants, etc). Provides responsive, quality support to senior F&B coverage officer(s) in the creation of internal credit documentation as well as external, client facing materials. Assists with various ad-hoc projects at the direction of the senior F&B coverage officer(s) and / or F&B Group Head when needed.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Supports the senior F&B coverage officer(s) in the identification and development of profitable relationships with prospective and existing customers consistent with the objectives of the bankProactively calls on prospective clients in the Southeast region to assist in the business development efforts of senior F&B coverage officer(s)Maintains an active database of prospective clients and updates internal CRM tools as appropriateDevelops a network of Centers of Influence (CoIs) to assist in business development effortsConducts client profitability analysis utilizing bank CRM tools Under the direction of the senior F&B coverage officer(s), creates internal credit screening memos and external client-facing materialsAttends and participates in prospective / existing client meetings at the request of the senior F&B coverage officer(s)Responds timely to existing customer inquiries and requests, coordinating with the senior F&B coverage officer(s) and other bank colleagues as neededAssists in due diligence, KYC and client onboarding processes Conducts industry research and attends various industry tradeshowsMaintains awareness of competitive products, practices, rates and changes in market conditionsCompletes all required training in a timely mannerParticipates in internal and external community activities as a representative of CNB, promoting and attracting new colleagues and customersInterfaces with other Bank departments as necessary. Defines responsibilities and coordinates objectives for all product areas in a relationship or transaction. Resolves all client needs and any internal issues.WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Required Qualifications*Bachelor's Degree or equivalentMinimum 2 years of financial services experience required.Minimum 2 years of credit experience requiredAdditional QualificationsStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsWillingness to cold call on prospective clients and help the senior coverage officer(s) grow the Southeast marketSound credit analysis and financial modeling skills with a solid understanding of financial statements and accounting conceptsGood understanding of bank products and services applicable to target client segment.Good knowledge of commercial credit policies and procedures, and bank operations policies and procedures.Demonstrated sales and marketing abilities.Capable of working well independently and in teams.Has the ability to work autonomously in making sound business decisions and exercises appropriate level of authority commensurate with experience and responsibility.Must be able to work autonomously in exercising sound decision making commensurate with experience and responsibility.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?CompensationStarting base salary: $87,027 - $138,965 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
