Join our active, fast-paced, and fun team — and make an impact on patient careAre you a talented cook who wants to make a difference in healthcare?Seasons Healthcare Center is the place you want to beLove where you workDietary Cook Shift: Weekend - 7am – 7pm, Saturdays and SundaysWe Offer:Advancement OpportunitiesComprehensive Benefits PackageHands-on Upper ManagementDietary Cook – Essential Functions:Prepare and serve meals to residents in our communityEnsure all special dietary needs are met, including preparing texture-modified food as directedMaintain compliance with all recordkeeping, food safety, and risk management requirementsMaintain clean dining areas and dishes using proper procedures; discard leftovers and empty trashUnderstand and follow color coding and abbreviations on tray cards and therapeutic menusMaintain kitchen equipment and appliancesAttend all mandatory in-services, educational trainings, and department meetingsDietary Cook – Requirements:Friendly with good communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with staff and residentsAbility to read and follow directionsAble to meet physical demands (stand, sit, walk extended periods, push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs)Food service experience preferredKnowledge of sanitation and safety guidelinesHigh school diploma or GED acceptedAbility to handle multiple tasks, demonstrate strong organization, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsWe look forward to welcoming you to our Dietary TeamContact: 816-237-8799
