We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our long-term care team on a full-time contract basis. If you are passionate about geriatric care and thrive in a collaborative and patient-focused environment, we invite you to apply Job Summary As an LPN in our Long-Term Care Unit, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, you will ensure the health, safety, and well-being of residents by providing comprehensive nursing care and emotional support. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed. Monitor and document resident vitals, symptoms, and progress in medical records. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, providing emotional support and education as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ACI policies and regulatory standards. Respond promptly to changes in residents' conditions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings. Qualifications Required: Current and valid LPN license in South Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care or geriatric nursing setting (must have worked within the last six months). Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including alternating weekends (preferred). Preferred: Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills. A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. What ACI Offers Compensation: $30 - $35 per hour, based on experience.
