We are a therapist and woman-owned and operated company.Position Overview:As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges, improve their speech and language skills, and achieve their educational goals. Your expertise will be essential in promoting students' overall success and well-being in the school environment.Additional Details: Begins Jan 12, 2026 (position is temporary)In person onlyMust reside within 45 minutes of the school districtMaster's Degree in Speech & Language Pathology, Valid full MichiganLicense in Speech and Language PathologyCurrent ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency/ (CCC); CFs can be consideredCurrent LARA licensureMust possess and demonstrate a strong understanding of the areas ofstandardized and informal assessment strategies related to communication disordersMust be confident in the ability to conduct comprehensive speech & language evaluationsPlan and provide services for students who have been identified as speech and language impaired.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Evaluate speech and language functionsComplete comprehensive, and appropriate evaluations according to MARSEStandards, District Guidelines, and ASHA GuidelinesProvide a complete diagnostic summary report, including a summary of the evaluation informationMaintain communication with parents and other relevant team membersDocument student progress through specific objectives and long-term goalsComplete Medicaid billing services are provided to students in an efficient,Comprehensive and timely mannerParticipate in building designated teams to provide pre-referralinterventionsWhen appropriate, make a referral for further evaluationProvide direct services related to expressive, receptive, and pragmatic languageQualifications:Master's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.Michigan licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC SLP) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.Experience in pediatric or school-based speech-language pathology is highly desirable.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, educators, and support staff.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.Dedication to providing culturally competent and student-centered care.Benefits:Health Benefits on Day 1 (Medical, Dental, Vision) with 50% employer contribution401k with match and immediate vesting, 100% match for the first 3% and 50% for 4 % and 5%up to 40 hours PTO/sick timeState Licensure ReimbursementNational Certification Stipendprofessional liability insurancePlease contact Sami Barra, MSP, CCC-SLP, for more information and additional details. / (410) 929-3949.Join our team and help students unlock their communication potential and succeed in their educational journeys.
