LeadershipLead a small but growing Operations & Logistics team spanning international logistics, domestic freight and warehousing, and order operations. Take ownership of hiring, recruiting, and staffing to build the right team and ensure operational excellenceHold the team accountable to the KPIs you set and coach them on how to improve over timeActively contribute to annual planning and long term strategic planning as part of the executive teamOperations Oversee and optimize team performance, ensuring training programs run efficiently and effectively, and holding the team accountable to KPIs and operational standardsQuickly master the current workflows, then implement enhancements that enable the team to operate more smoothly and with greater predictabilityManage relationships with freight forwarders, ocean carriers, and domestic trucking partners and make sure pricing and contracts stay competitiveOversee order operations to ensure orders are entered correctly, issues are resolved quickly, and suppliers get accurate informationWork closely with Sales and Finance so freight planning, customer demand, and inventory flow are alignedContinuous Improvement, Scale, ProfessionalizeDevelop the daily KPIs the team will rely on, and create clear, streamlined dashboards that highlight performance and progressAnalyze data from the ERP to understand where delays or issues happen and fix the root causesIntroduce new tools and technologies that strengthen tracking, reporting, compliance, and communicationSenior Director of Operations & Logistics – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit)You have: Prior experience leading operations, logistics, supply chain functions, warehouse Experience building and developing operational KPIs (setting the metrics, building the dashboard, monitoring ongoing metrics)Experience and passion for leading and developing a team – you are hands on when you need to be to work with a small and growing team and also enjoy leading and guiding others Experience in a rapid-growth environment and excitement to join a company with very aggressive growth goals A sense of urgency to push the team and get things done, curiosity, and forward-thinking mindsetYou might have:Prior experience working in CPG, FMCG or the food and beverage industrySenior Director of Operations & Logistics – Benefits for YouYour compensation for this role will be a base salary of $200,000 to $225,000, plus an annual incentive bonus opportunity based on company growth and performance (OTE planned at $275,000 +).You will work primarily on-site in Danville, California.
