All of Benoit’s products are built to withstand the most demanding operating conditions. **Position Title: Supervisor II - Night Shift – Ennis Manufacturing Location: Ennis, TX Reporting to: Manager – Ennis Manufacturing Classification: Non-Exempt Hourly Rate of Pay (Range): $36.65 - $46.27 Essential Functions ** The Night Shift Supervisor-Ennis Manufacturing will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Benoit’s – Ennis, Night Shift. As with the day shift, the night shift is responsible for the threading of oilfield tubulars with Benoit’s proprietary thread forms. The Supervisor will be directly involved in the productivity and profitability studies performed within each Division and Department. The Supervisor will be responsible for implementing best practices, controlling manufacturing costs, ensuring productivity performances are maintained and ensuring the customer receives a quality product. Role and Responsibilities The Supervisor II -Night Shift -Ennis Manufacturing main role and responsibilities are: Lead a team of machinists and technicians providing leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance team productivity. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines by collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of materials and information. Oversee the operation, setup, and maintenance of CNC machines and other equipment ensuring machines are properly calibrated and maintained for optimal performance. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to guarantee the production of threaded parts meet both internal and industry standards. Work closely with Benoit QA Dept to conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure product quality. Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a secure working environment. Develop and manage the machine shop budget, controlling costs and maximizing efficiency while identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains. Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance overall productivity. Provide training programs for team members to enhance skills and knowledge. Candidates’ minimum skills and experiences. Basic Qualifications: A minimum of 5yrs experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures. Proficient in budget management and cost control. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
